«THE UNPRECEDENTED INCREASE IN THE RENTAL PRICE IN VALENCIA»
From 817 Euros per month to 1,598 in just one year in Valencia.
Valencia continues to be in the spotlight within the residential market.
The latest data collected from 2024 by the Housing Observatory Chair of the Polytechnic University of Valencia reveal that even the districts of Valencia until now called “most economical” or accessible for renting a home, have seen an increase of up to 100 % rental prices compared to 2023.
The reality is that during the fourth quarter of 2023, an average rental amounted to an income of 817 Euros, while in the fourth quarter of 2024, the average rent already amounts to 1,598 Euros.
However, the rental price has decreased in a single district of the city of Valencia, the Jesús neighborhood, going from 1079 Euros per month to 958 Euros. On the other hand, L’Eixample continues to maintain the highest prices, standing at 2,054 Euros per month.
All of this leads us to reflect again on the lack of housing supply in the face of a growing demand that continues to increase rental prices with less and less possibility of assuming them.
