THE NEW LAND LAW OF THE PP AND ITS PLAN AGAINST the occupation of tenants

This Friday, January 31, the Popular Group has registered a Land Law in the Senate to give legal security to urban plans, with different measures that will consolidate the new Law.

In his speech, Feijóo advocated reducing the average construction time for new homes from 10 to four years. He also committed to establishing support for owners as one of the first measures by publishing a law that evicts squatters in 24 hours and increase the penalties for these crimes.

The Popular Group proposed 10 measures to address the housing problem in Spain

1 Tax reduction for people who purchase a home.

2 Those under 40 years of age will enjoy a reduction in the Property Transfer Tax (ITP) up to 4%

3 Young people will be able to access credit for up to 100% of the entire price of the home.

4 Construction of rental housing at prices assessed on public land.

5 Insurance to guarantee rental payments and legal assistance in the event of squatting.

6 Unblock the ‘anti-squatting law’ in Congress.

7 Reduce the average for obtaining reports from nine to three months.

8 Facilitate access to officially protected housing.

9 Repeal the Housing Law.

10 Modify the Land Law supported by other laws.
