Spanish government is planning to create a Register of tenants that do not pay, the measure is aimed to promote the rental of apartments
The Spanish government is planning to create a Register of bad tenants, a public list with the complete name of the tenats that do not pay the rent of their apartment. This measure, has been requested from various sectors for a long time in order to promote the rentals, is included in a proposal of the Spanish “Ministerio de Fomento” for modifying the Draft of Spanish Law for Rental Market Flexibility. The content of the above mentioned Draft of Law has been documented since 2012 August, even though it does not seem it is going to be passed in the near future.
